The Resource Mobilisation and Ministry Department of the BSI conducted a training for a select group of Volunteers and Staff of Kolkata Auxiliary at the Bible House on March 13, 2012. At the end of the Programme, they said, “Thank you BSI for conducting this vision-casting workshop and getting us involved in the Projects work. It is indeed a great privilege to serve the people of our State, West Bengal, with the transforming love of our Lord Jesus Christ, through Scripture Engagement.”
The focus of the workshop was “Empowering Widows and Suffering Women, School Dropouts and Women At Risk, through Scripture Engagement.” It was truly a participatory workshop, where everybody was looked at as a Resource Person, with knowledge, experience and expertise. More than 40 men and women participated in it enthusiastically, from 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Three Teams have been formed to implement the three Projects, among the above mentioned three different groups of people, across the State of West Bengal, under the supervision of Mr. Sajal Kumar Sarkar, Auxiliary Secretary, and the guidance of Dr. E. Leelavathi Manasseh, Director (Resource Mobilisation and Ministry Department) during 2012-2013.
