The Bible Society of India has been reaching out to School Dropout Girls and Boys through Scripture Engagement, since 2011.  We empower them by building up their capacity, so that their knowledge, attitude and skills are developed, in order to help them lead a meaningful life.  By God’s grace we are able to see the impact of God’s Word on their lives.  When they listen to stories from the Bible, they develop some hope for their own lives now. 

Who are the School Dropouts?  To answer this question, let us listen to these two girls:

“Our parents sent us to school.  We studied up to 2nd Standard in a government school.  We could not go back to school after that.  Because our Parents migrated to a city.  They are working at a construction site.  We are taking care of our little brothers and sisters. Thank you very much BSI for starting free Tuition for us.  We like the Bible Stories.  One day we want to write S.S.L.C. exam and go to college!”
