Dimapur became an associate of Shillong Auxiliary in 1985 and gained full-fledged status in 1986. Though covering a relatively small area consisting of Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh, this Auxiliary serves people and communities with several distinct linguistic backgrounds. Poised in a place which is known for its political and social volatility, the Word of God translated and distributed in several languages in this area has helped bring about an understanding among the peoples, that, it is in God's Word, through Jesus Christ true peace is to be found.
