The UBS Day of Prayer is observed all over the world within the fellowship of the Bible Societies on 9th May each year commemorating the formation of the global fellowship. However, the Central Office of the BSI celebrated the UBS Day of Prayer on the 8th of May 2012, coinciding with the visit of Mr. David Thorne, the UBS Regional Secretary, Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Thorne brought the message from God’s Word reminding us that only in the presence of God we will have the sense of belonging. There was a time of Intercessory Prayer for the various needs of the Bible Societies of the UBS fellowship and also remembering the faithfulness of God in guiding the Bible Society movement for more than 200 years.
